Story
The main character, Misaki, works at a local daycare center for school children while taking care of her mother.
Although she graduated from a university in Tokyo, she was unable to get the job she wanted due to the "employment ice age", and she is a single woman on the verge of turning 40, having trouble with love, marriage, and everything else.
Her mother is toxic and keeps denying her. She rebels against her mother, but deep down she wants to be accepted. Then the reality of nursing care comes into play.
They both want to escape, but they cannot. One day, Kaori, Misaki's best friend and her only source of comfort, suddenly takes her own life. For Misaki, Kaori's independence as a beekeeper was something she longed for. Misaki's heart snaps and she begins to fall apart.
