Story
A young man who since childhood has felt "someday I should go abroad..." decides to leave Japan.
He heads to the fascinating island of Jamaica in the Caribbean.
With its bright sunlight, clear seas, bright and cheerful people and pleasant reggae music, it seems like paradise on earth.
However, hidden behind this is the persistent poverty and desperate insecurity of Jamaica, with cases of robbery about 15 times that of Japan and murder cases about 120 times that of Japan.
For some reason, he finds himself in the dangeours ghetto, where he goes from having no experience at all to becoming "I-VAN", the best dancer in the world.
This shocking and piercing documentary of a Japanese man that weaved a miracle in the foreign country of Jamaica has been 10 years in the making.
